We were heartbroken after losing our beloved Peekapoo, Taffy, who passed away of old age two years ago. It took a long time to heal, but we knew we wanted another Peekapoo. They are hard to find, especially in Hawaii, where our primary home is located.
Peekapoo Zone Puppies was incredibly responsive and helpful. Their website is clear and straightforward, and Susana, Rafael, and the rest of the family made the entire process a pleasure.
We originally wanted a female, but due to the logistics of importing to Hawaii (HI is rabies-free, and it takes about 4 months to complete immunizations and paperwork), choosing little Teddy, a boy, was the best option.
Susana also helped arrange Teddy’s in-cabin flight via Pupsonaplane out of Atlanta—I highly recommend them as well. Teddy arrived safely at our home in California, where he will stay for a few months. The Camacho family transported him 4 hours to Houston, and Pupsonaplane handled the rest.
The whole experience was fantastic. Teddy is healthy, friendly, and incredibly happy, which clearly shows he was raised with lots of love. I would strongly recommend Peekapoo Zone Puppies. They strive to provide the best service, are immediately available for questions, and genuinely love their dogs—you can see it in their videos! I would definitely use them again and again.

About Peekapoos

A Peekapoo is a designer crossbreed between a Pekingese and a Toy Poodle. It can be friendly, affectionate, intelligent, and hypoallergenic. They are loyal companions, low-shedding, and easy to train. This is one of the oldest designer mixed breeds, dating back to the 1950s. With a lifespan of 13 to 15 years, these puppies can grow from 6 to 20 lbs.
A Peekapoo's appearance can vary greatly. They tend to have a soft, wavy coat in colors like Silver, White, Cream, Apricot, Red, Chocolate, or Black. Most owners tend to take these dogs to be groomed regularly. Some people like to keep it long, we recommend to brush it daily to prevent knots and matts from forming.
Due to their short muzzle, they are described as a brachycephalic breed. This means they are prone to breathing difficulties and struggle to cope with extreme temperature changes. On a hot day, Peekapoos are at a higher risk of having a heat stroke if left outside.

Testimonials

We had such a wonderful experience using Peekapoo Zone Puppies to bring home our sweet baby. They kept us updated every step of the way by sending photos of Baby and the special touch they add to the experience is unmatched. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I recently purchased not 1 but 2 fur babies from Peekapoo Zone. They were both so adorable, we couldn't decide which one we wanted. The purchase was smooth. They drove from TX to La to meet me with the puppies. Each puppy came with a basket of goodies as well as a photo album showing each week of their life. The owners were great! They communicated with me effectively. They made me feel safe and secure with the transaction. If you are looking to purchase your new fur baby don't hesitate to shop with them, I promise you won't be disappointed. Thanks again for everything!
